What is Microneedling ?
Micro needling is a medical procedure which involves a device using fine needles to create controlled multiple tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. These microneedle length can vary from 0.5 to 3.0 mm.
How does Microneedling work ?
It creates micro-point punctures in the skin. These are perceived by the body as damage, which is tricked to release growth factors that trigger the production of collagen and elastin for repairing it. Your skin reacts to any injury by initiating the healing process.
The process of micro needling skin remodeling can go on for months after each microneedling treatment. As the skin naturally heals itself every 45 days, so with microneedling stimulation changes can be dramatic and fast.

How will i feel during Microneedling ?
Prior to your medical micro needling treatment, anaesthetic cream will be applied to the treatment area making the experience comfortable and virtually pain free.
The procedure can be carried out by 2 devices
We prefer Dermapen over Derma roller as it is much better for depth control. However, if patient wishes otherwise Derma roller is available and can be used.
What to expect after a Microneedling?
After treatment your skin will be red and flushed in appearance, comparable to mild sunburn. You will also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the treated area but this will diminish greatly after a few hours. After 3-5 days, there is barely any evidence that the procedure has taken place.
What results should I expect ?
It helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks and creates a more youthful skin tone.
When will I see the Results ?
Visible results are generally seen after just 6-8 weeks following procedure and improve further over time. A course of 4-6 Medical Microneedling treatments is usually recommended to achieve optimum micro needling results; however, improvement is noticeable after just one - two treatment.
What are the possible side effects ?
Slightly red or pink skin which might be slightly swollen. This tends to disappear within a day.
In some cases, the skin can bruise, burn, sting, or become extremely sensitive to sunlight. These will go away without treatment.
Infection may occur if post procedure proper skin care is not taken
When microdermabrasion is performed by a dermatologist, risks are minor.
