About Unwanted Hair :

All women have facial and body hair, but the hair is usually very fine and light in color. An unwanted or excessive hair on a women's body is called Hirsutism. However these hair differ from typical hair on women's face and body (Called Peach Fuzz) in texture by being more coarse and dark.

  • Loosing weight : Do regular exercises, which improves insulin sensitivity, helping you lose weight, and managing excess PCOS facial hair.

  • Dietary changes : The right dietary changes can reverse insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances, which lie at the heart of PCOS hirsutism. Some of the principles are:

  • Eliminate all refined and processed foods from your diet

  • Eat more fiber-rich vegetables and fruits, along with lean proteins

  • Add healthy fats like grass-fed butter, coconut oil, ghee, extra-virgin olive oil, avocados, fatty fish, nuts and seeds to your diet

  • Cut back on dairy

  • Add gut-friendly probiotics to your diet

  • Physical Removal (Shaving. plucking, Threading, Waxing) All these methods only give temporary solution.

  • Medications (Androgen Blockers, Androgen Suppressors, and Androgen Inhibitors). All of these come with side-effects and none should be taken during pregnancy. They take up to 6 months to show effective results. Results will quickly disappear when you stop taking the drugs

  • Electrolysis

  • Laser Hair removal : Requires multiple session and there is no permanent Hair removal, only the growth cycle slows.
